October 26, 2018+ It is the Jewish religious centre which was built on the same place where Abraham offered his son on Mount Moriah. It was the same spot taken by David to offer his sacrifices and where Solomon built his famous temple. It was demolished by the Babylonians when they occupied Jerusalem. Then Zerubbabel came and rebuilt it. It was renovated by Herod the Great and became a masterpiece of architecture.
