Day to Day (#66) – The First Council – Part I
September 4, 2018Day to Day (#68) – The First Council – Part III – Barnabas and Paul’s Report
September 6, 2018+ Peter based his defense on several points. He reminded them of his experience with the Gentiles and how God had opened the door of faith to them. He spoke about Christ’s calling him and how he answered it.
+ He said that we are saved through grace not by the Law and its works. Finally he reminded them the Law is a yoke that neither they nor their fathers have been able to bear.
+ Does it mean that salvation is by faith not by works and that one’s life after believing has nothing to do with his works?
+ Does salvation by faith mean that God does not care about our works but about our faith only? How?
