Grace and peace to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Recently the message that has been burning on my heart is that of "HOPE." On the mission trip to Syria and Lebanon in August I brought them the message of hope through Christ and many, many responded to the message and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
Our theme for our fund-raising efforts this Fall has been that of hope and our key verse is: "In His Name the nations will put their hope." (Matthew 12:21)
We, as the people of God, do not need to fear. God has everything in control. We are facing elections in both Canada and the USA, and many of us do not trust the politicians and are frustrated and fear for the future. Let us pray for the elections that God will bring into office godly and righteous people, for "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin a disgrace to any people" (Proverbs 14:34). We pray that the Judeo Christian ethics and principles upon which Canada and the USA are founded will prevail once again. Let us take comfort to know that we serve a sovereign God. We learn from the Apostle Paul: "Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established" (Romans 13:1).
In the Middle East they need hope desperately! They have lost hope in both the religious and political leadership. Jesus is the hope they need. He is the "Hope of Nations." "To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27).
Ellen and I had a wonderful visit to Alberta, Canada this past week. We had a good fund-raising banquet in Edmonton. I praise the Lord for all our dear, faithful partners and friends in Alberta. May I ask you to be an ambassador for Light For All Nations? Would you tell others about the ministry in hopes that more people would come on-board as supporters? Television production is costly, but our message is of utmost importance - it is the Gospel and there is no other message more important that needs to be spread all over the world!
It is my prayer that more people from the younger generation would catch the vision and become supporters. I have challenged my own children and they do support Light For All Nations. If you have grown children, would you challenge them to join in supporting us? We who are older must pass the baton on to others. Share our website with the younger generation. It is WWW.LFAN.ORG and our Arabic website is WWW.LFAN.COM
May the Lord bless you and give you the hope that is only found in Christ.
With the hope of glory,
