From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the Name of the Lord is to be praised! (Psalms 113:3). This scripture has been going through my mind all day long. All over the world, people are turning to God. Our Light For All Nations media programs are being watched by millions everywhere. The Gospel message is being preached widely. Even though the church doors are closed and satan thought he had won a victory, the Lord is victorious as God's people are lifting up their voices, much more than just on Sunday, but all day and everyday in prayer, song and praise, more than ever before. I am seeing this in my home with my family and all over the internet.
We are praying for our front-line workers in this war against an invisible enemy, the Corona virus. Oh Lord protect them! Lord help all the families grieving loss. Strengthen and heal those infected, give wisdom to our leaders, and please Lord, as you are the God of the miraculous, bring healing to the world.
We are all feeling grief at this time and many of us know people who are sick and who have passed away. My friend that I ministered with in Egypt last month, just passed away and I am so shocked and saddened.
While all this turmoil is going on, the people of God all over the world are celebrating and commemorating the most important and significant Christian holiday, Holy Week - beginning with Palm Sunday - when Jesus set His face to go into Jerusalem to fulfill the plan of the Father and all the prophecies. He entered as a victorious King with shouts of Hosanna, meaning "Save us!" The week, did indeed culminate with salvation, as Jesus gave His life as a sacrificial Lamb for the sins of the world to procure our redemption and ending with His victorious resurrection which is His crowning miracle and the foundation of our faith and the reason we preach the Gospel. Jesus defeated death, the grave, and satan, and gave us justification and forgiveness of sins.
During this season of the Covid-19 virus, let us all pray that it will end with the power of the resurrection and may the Lord's Holy Name be glorified!
As this is a difficult period of time, Ellen and I continue to pray for you and your families' safety and for the divine provision of all your needs. I see light, goodness and sweetness coming.
Please keep the ministry of Light For All Nations in your prayers and offerings. Some regular donations we used to receive have stopped but if we can all stand in the gap and give a small amount, we will get through this hard time.
May God bless you and give you a meaningful Holy Week!
