Grace and peace to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. "Grace and peace"... these are two things we need greatly these days. We need to have grace to deal with the current situation in our world, and peace, oh how we need peace! It is very sad to see what is going on now in the USA.
Our prayers and love go to them all. We pray for the church of Jesus Christ to be effective and to influence their communities with God's love. I pray many people will turn to God at this time.
The Church has always been the greatest blessing to the world. The people of God have always been the first to help in any crisis and have done the most good. That is because we are to model after the Lord Jesus Christ; do what he would do, say what He would say, act as He would act, love as He loves. If one is not Christ-like, how can we say we are Christians? Truly, we are known by our love.
Christians obeyed the Great Commission of Jesus Christ and have gone with love in their hearts into all the world to preach the Gospel. In fact, I am a product of a Southern Baptist Missionary from the USA who came to the Arab Village of Cana of Galilee to live and minister. He shared with me the message of salvation and I was saved by God's grace.
Even though so much good as been done all over the world in the Name of Jesus Christ, the followers of Jesus are the most persecuted people group ever. In many parts of the world, especially in the Middle East and North Africa, they are targeted, murdered, kidnapped, raped, exploited and discriminated against. By just their names, and from birth, they are profiled. They have to carry Identification cards which states on it that they are "Christian", and thus their businesses often suffer, or they are denied job opportunities and University entrance. Some are forced with the threat of death to leave Christianity and convert to Islam. These people can relate to what it means to be racially profiled and to not be afforded the privileges of the majority. Our world lacks kindness and love.
Everyone is made in God's image and must be shown the same respect and be treated equally.
In today's world, despite the limitations put upon us, Light For All Nations is continuing to minister and reaching our target audience in the Middle East and North Africa. We have been repeating some of our programming on the Satellite TV channels, and I have been doing a lot of messages for radio, making a daily Facebook live message, and video conferencing with several churches and conferences. God's work does not halt. Thank the Lord for these many ways that are still available to us to reach the lost.
I thank the Lord for you and your support of Light For All Nations. More than anything, we need your prayers at this time. I know that God is in control and we praise Him always for taking care of us. I praise Him for taking care of you and pray you and your families will be well and safe.
Despite what is going around us, we are committed to preach the Gospel and reach the lost with the message of God's love and the hope of eternal life. May the Lord bless you and fill you with His grace, peace and love!
Your brother in Christ,
