Day to Day (#8) - Why this fanaticism? Part 3

Day to Day (#8) - Why this fanaticism? Part 3

952

Saul of Tarsus who was breathing out murderous threats against Christians had a very strong reason to persecute them. According to his beliefs, they were atheists, they claimed that God became a man, died on the cross and rose from the dead. How can a God become a man? Be crucified? How can the crucified be a prophet, rather the long-awaited Messiah? The disciples of Christ claimed that the one who was crucified was alive for he rose from the dead. He took the miraculous signs done by the disciples for pure magic.

+ Why did not the over-enthusiastic fanaticism succeed in abolishing Christianity and the Gospel?

+ How do you explain that Christ is God, though Christians believe in one God?

+ If Jesus is God, how can He die on the cross?
