While the church was growing and flourishing, persecution intensified. Despite its ugly face, it helped the church to grow and could not prevent it from spreading. The blood of the martyrs was the seed of the church. God used persecution to spread the gospel in different countries. Church has expanded by love, faith and God's power, despite the persecution.
