Paul and Barnabas fled from Iconium to Lystra. While they were preaching, a miracle happened to a man crippled from birth. He jumped up to his feet and began to walk. The crowd took Paul & Barnabas for gods and wanted to honor them by offering bulls and wreaths but the apostles stopped and told them about the one living God.
Then some Jews came and stirred the city. They stoned Paul and dragged him outside the city, thinking he was dead. But the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city.
What does it mean to give God the glory and try to be humble?
Can you believe one person was stoned but did not grumble or complain that God does not protect him from suffering?
What can we learn from this attitude in ministry?
