Day to Day (#66) - The First Council – Part I

969

+ Some Pharisee Jews, who were converted, came down to Antioch and were not satisfied with the faith of the Gentiles. So they taught them to circumcise and keep Moses' law to become true Christians.

+ This led to a sharp dispute between them and Paul and Barnabas. The church sent these two apostles along with some other believers to Jerusalem in order to resolve this matter.

+ Do you care about sectarian differences too much that it disturbs the church?

+ Do you know that close-mindedness can cause division in church and this will give satisfaction to the enemy?

+ What is the dividing line between the useless disputes and the firm standing against the false teachings?
