Day to Day (#75) - Silas

+ One of the two respectable men that the apostles sent with Paul and Barnabas to deliver the decree of Jerusalem Council concerning the Judaization of the Gentiles. The Bible states that Silas had "hazarded his life for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ". He respected the freedom that Christ offered us which Jerusalem Council called for.

+ He was Paul's faithful companion, on his second missionary journey, and one of the coauthors of many of Paul's epistles.

+ Silas devoted himself to the ministry of Christ. The Bible testified that he had hazarded his life for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

+ What prevents you from devoting your whole life to Jesus Christ?

+ You follow Jesus because you expect more from Him or you wish to commit yourself to Him?
