About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose. The jailer was about to kill himself but Paul stopped him. He asked Paul & Silas, "What must I do to be saved?" He and all his family were converted and baptized.
