The Jewish education of Saul of Tarsus, or the apostle Paul, prevented him from believing Christians who claimed Christ to be God. This God was "crucified on the cross" then "rose from the dead". Of course, there are several prophecies that relate to Christ's crucifixion in detail but Saul's Jewish education kept him from trusting the Christian beliefs. He did not grasp the biblical truths or understand the significance of the cross.
Prophecies of Christ's crucifixion were written hundreds of years before His birth. He confirmed this truth by Himself several times.
