Day to Day (#37) - Paul in Damascus

+ After he encountered Jesus on the road to Damascus, prayed with Ananias and was filled with the Holy Spirit, immediately, Saul began to preach in Damascus in the Jewish synagogues.

+ He was bold enough to preach among the Jews and in their synagogues. Why? Because he was full of the Holy Spirit.

+ On the other side, he was full of love towards his people. Although he was persecuted and they tried to kill him, God saved him.

+ Statistics show that persecuting Christians and resisting the spread of the Gospel is more intense than at any time before!

+ Is persecution a major reason in decreasing the preaching?

+ How did the disciples and the apostles face the persecution? How does the church react towards it?
