+ Antioch was a trade and religious centre; it was also a multi-cultural city. A large Jewish community lived there but because of its numerous gods, most of the inhabitants converted into Judaism. Then a large number of people became Christians. The city was a missionary centre for all the surrounding towns to Asia Minor and Europe.
+ Antioch did not attract any disciple with its entertainment & trade centres. The Gospel preaching is what attracted them the most.
