+ Everyone listened to Peter's defense and Paul & Barnabas' testimony. It was time to make a fundamental decision. James was the leader of the Jerusalem Church and known for being a just and prayerful man. The Jewish historian, Josephus, said that the destruction of Jerusalem was God's punishment for killing this great apostle.
