+ Luke was a Gentile and came to know Jesus Christ. He accompanied Paul on his missionary journeys and did not leave him even during his last imprisonment in Rome. He wrote the Gospel of Luke and shed the light on Jesus Christ, the Man who took great care of the poor, the oppressed, children, women and the outcast. He wrote the Book of Acts as well. Luke was a trustworthy historian and he was historically and geographically reliable.
+ Being from the Gentiles did not change anything in Luke's life but his passion for Christ and Paul was very distinctive.
