+ Paul was a master communicator and a clever orator. Though he was greatly distressed to see the idols worship, he had a deep respect for their faith. He spoke with them about the God creator and referred to God's plans for man, God's goodness to his creation and His total sovereignty. He spoke as well about the judgment of God on the wicked and the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. The message had a great effect on the auditors.
