I am sorry for the late newsletter this month, but I just returned from a whirl-wind ministry trip to Egypt and I wanted to tell you about it! It was the first time in one year that I travelled, and it was wonderful to get back to the evangelistic meetings and conferences that I love. In less than 14 days I had 37 services and most of the services were transmitted live by satellite.
The people had missed out on many activities and gathering because of the pandemic, but now they are having some sense of normalcy and are so happy to meet together to worship the Lord. There was such a great hunger for the Lord, and we had a great harvest of souls!
The amount of needs and sicknesses was overwhelming. I prayed for hundreds of people who told me of their infirmities and problems. It is a heavy burden, but I am so thankful to the Lord for carrying this burden. I am amazed by the realization that Jesus bore all our transgressions, sicknesses, and the curse of sin upon Himself. Oh what a heavy weight He bore! He was and is victorious and He gives us the victory too! As you may be carrying a heavy burden, let me encourage you to give it over to the Lord. He will carry your burdens and carry you too! Our Lord said, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matt. 11:28)
Light For All Nations has a great follow-up program, both electronically and on the ground. An important feature is prayer. Thousands send in prayer requests and we pray for them all. I am keeping very active on our Facebook page, doing live video almost daily, and even praying for people on the live stream. Once a week we have a special program to answer questions. Some questions are tough, but God, though His Holy Spirit, has helped me to give answers, which has led many to come to faith.
Thank you for your prayers and for being a partner with me in ministry. Your support keeps me going, and, as God gives me strength, I will continue to go wherever He leads. I am thankful to the Lord for the negative Covid test I took in Egypt before returning and I am trusting Him to keep the other tests all negative as well. It will be hard to quarantine, but God is giving me the grace, and it really was worth it, to make this trip that helped to bring many souls into the Kingdom! Such a job is really something essential, for it is a matter of life and death, spiritually speaking. I am also planning to use this quarantine time to have some much needed rest, to read the Good Book, seek the Lord for program topics, write sermons, and do some research. It will also be a good opportunity to do some outdoor spring cleaning in our yard.
Although I have to stay alone for another few days, I am not really alone, as the Lord, my dearest friend is with me, and from a distance I can see and speak with my family. I am a blessed man! May God bless you and keep you and your family well and healthy.
