May 2021 - Pray for Peace in the Holy Land!
It is with a heavy heart that I write you today. As you have heard from the news the situation in Israel, Palestine and Gaza is very dire. As the body of Christ, it is our duty and responsibility to pray; and to especially lift up our fellow Christians. We have family on both sides of the conflict. Let us pray for the hatred to stop and for divine healing in their hearts. Even in my own home town of Cana of Galilee there have been uprisings and I pray for the safety of my family, my church family and my neighbours there.
The root issue is hatred on both sides and Satan is fanning the flames to cause death, injury and destruction. Oh, may the body of Christ in the land, both the Arabs and Jews, join in unity so the world will see their love and be drawn to Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
1. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all the residents, both Israelis and Palestinians and those in the surrounding areas.
2. Pray for the leaders to pursue peace.
3. Pray for the healing of relationships between Arabs and Jews.
4. Pray for the Church in the land to be salt and light in the darkness.
5. Pray that our ministry, Light For All Nations, will continue to have a great impact to bring the Gospel of love and peace through Jesus Christ.
