June 2021 - Sustained! Blessed! Hopeful!
Greetings to you in the wonderful Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Praise the Lord! It seems the opening of more and more things are happening and are on the horizon. We have all been affected by the pandemic. It has hurt many people in many ways – loss of lives, loss of income and loss of hope, but despite it all, the Lord has proved faithful and He has been with us. He has greatly blessed the ministry of Light For All Nation! He has sustained us and given us new and creative ways to reach the lost! We testify that God’s Word is powerful and has a great impact!
Scripture verses in Romans chapter 8 are strong on my mind these days:
“… If God is for us, who can be against us? … Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?... Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
(Romans 8:31, 35, 37).
We have the victory! Soon we will go back to a more normal way of ministry, with on-location production in Israel that I am so anxious to do, yet, we will still make use of the means we used over the past year and a half, such as Zoom videos, Facebook live videos, and more electronic communications, that have proven very effective.
When the pandemic hit, we were in the midst of various productions in Israel and in other Bible locations – a unique and wonderful feature of Light For All Nations. I was forced to cancel many trips, but now I am looking forward to continue working on them and completing them soon. I am planning to go to Israel next month. It will be so great to get back on the field and do the work I love! I will be meeting with the church leaders, speaking in various churches, getting together and working with our production team in Israel and making plans for the Fall and learning the best ways we can help the suffering people in Bethlehem and Gaza. It will also be wonderful to see my family and good friends again!
I like to share with you some testimonies in every letter:
- A Moroccan man searching for truth contacted us, and we sent him the link to watch the Jesus Film. He watched it several times, and he called us several times and we encouraged him to read the Gospel and we answered his many questions. Now he is convinced and he received Jesus as his Savior and he is continuing to receive from our skilled follow-up team, the studies he needs to grow in faith.
- A man from Sudan living in the UAE wrote us to say he is constantly learning from our website.
- Another Muslim man said, “I am converted and since I took this decision, I have lost my family and friends, and I have some fear.” By God’s grace and Holy Spirit, we encouraged him.
