October 2021 - Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday, October 11, 2021! We certainly have so much for which we are thankful to God! We can trust Him to take care of us during this hard time in the world today. No matter the difficult circumstances, God is still in control. Our freedom is found in Him! All over the world wherever believers have no freedom, or have lost freedom, they can rest assured that through Christ and His truth, they are free!
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
Freedom in Christ was the topic of the live program this week. We had some great testimonies shared by people who called in.
- A lady from Yemen who became a believer shared how Jesus freed her from the fear of death and from witchcraft and that He gave her hope.
- A young Moroccan man in France testified that he was a follower of Jesus through our programs and he declared that Jesus liberated him from the teachings of Islamic religion.
- Another believer in Morocco called to say he was freed from fear that had overtaken him for many years because of Islam.
The most common question we get is, “How can I know Jesus?” Our wonderful ministry counsellors are very skillful in leading people to the Lord. In their reports, it always amazes me how bold so many people are who contact us. Many are bold to ask pointed questions showing they are true seekers, and others are so bold to vehemently attack us.
A whole family from Saudi Arabia was so bold as to tell us that their whole family wants to follow Jesus! Another family of five asked to be baptized! Another Muslim man from Oman left us a message saying that he has been watching our programs for five months and wants to speak with someone. Our counsellor shared with him the message of salvation and he received Jesus Christ!
We are so thankful to God for using our ministry on social media platforms. In the last three weeks we reached over 1.7 million people on Facebook! Granted, many messages we received were attacks, but also many showed sincere interest in knowing more about Jesus.
The ministry of Light For All Nations is truly blessed by you, our partners who pray for us and support us. Thank you so much! This year again, we have not been able to have the usual Fall fund-raising events, but we are trusting God to keep on speaking to people hearts to give through our website or by mailing in a donation.
The Lord is providing and we are certain He will continue to provide. As the ministry is developing more on social media, please pray with me that God will provide the workers we need to respond in follow-up with the huge traffic we are getting online and this is on the increase. Praise the Lord!
