December 2021 - Merry Christmas from the Light For All Nations Ministry
Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Greetings to you from Syria in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ to whom we give all the praise, glory and honor! I want to share with you in this letter some of the miracles we are experiencing!
Ellen and I, and our Light For All Nations team, wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year! We are living in exciting times, even though they are difficult times world wide, the Lord God is in control and He is accomplishing His purposes. One of His purposes is to see the salvation of lost souls – every person that He loves so much that he sent His one and only Son into the world to save. Hallelujah!
I have gone on several ministry trips to Syria and every time we have seen many miracles! The first time I went to Syria was in December 2016 and I have been several times since. When I went in April of 2017 the war with ISIS was still active. God helped and protected me and gave me great favor! We helped and I prayed with thousands of people, and hundreds came to the Lord.
One story that I vividly recall was visiting a young man in the hospital in Aleppo. He was in a hopeless situation as an ISIS missile hit his home and tore his abdomen apart. My focus was to pray for his salvation, for it appeared that he would not survive. In the emailed newsletters from May 9, 2017, I gave a report of this first mission trip to Syria and I prayed for him in his hospital bed. To my amazement the team in Syria shared with me a few days ago that this young man was completely healed and only a finger on one of hands cannot move, but the most amazing thing is that he is now a strong believer and is serving the Lord and has a great testimony that he boldly shares! Praise the Lord!
Still today the situation in Syria is extremely difficult yet the light for Jesus is shining! I have preached in many meetings and many people have come to the Lord. So many mothers have come and asked me for prayer for their children who were kidnapped by ISIS and who are still missing. It is so heart-breaking!
Last week there was an historical event! I went to preach in an all Druze village. The owner of the hotel was a believer and he helped us get the permits and the security to use his hall. The hall was packed out with more than 300 people, and some couldn’t fit inside. It was like heaven on earth! More than 100 people accepted the Lord by boldly raising their hands and praying out loud after me. I also prayed for all the village for every family has suffered greatly during the war. One lady shared her testimony that she was pronounced dead, but Jesus appeared to her and raised her to life! Another testimony was a man who had been in prison for murder and he along with his jailer both became believers. After the service we provided a delicious meal for all the people and had a wonderful time of fellowship in a heavenly atmosphere.
I still have many more meetings planned and we know the Lord will continue to do miracles! I have already been to two children’s Christmas programs where we shared the Christmas salvation message and handed out gift bags. What a glorious and joyous time! In the town of the first celebration we gave gifts to 250 children. In the next village we gave gifts to 450 children and we still have two more celebrations in other towns yet to do. The children were so happy but most importantly many children accepted the Lord as their Savior! I am so thankful for the great and dedicated team working with us on the ground.
I am also so very thankful to you, our dear supporters. We couldn’t do anything without your prayers and financial support. What a blessing you are! I pray your Christmas celebration will be focused on Jesus and may every member of your family have peace and experience the love and light of Christ. I pray 2022 will be a blessed year for you! Keep sharing the light!
