March 2023 - With Thanks and Testimonies
Greetings in the precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I am filled with such gratitude to you and all our dear supporters for your prayers and donations designated for the earthquake relief in Syria. I feel like the apostle Paul must have felt when he presented the needs of the Macedonia believers who were in “a great trial of affliction” to the church at Corinth, he applauded them for giving “according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing” and he encouraged them to continue to “abound in this grace” of sacrificial giving (2 Corinthians 8:2,3,7). Paul took to heart and put into practice the admonition found in the book of Proverbs: “Open your mouth, judge righteously and plead the cause of the poor and needy” (Proverbs 31:9).
Within days of the earthquake and as soon as Light For All Nations received the donations to help, we began sending the funds to Syria, helping hundreds of families to ease their pain at this most difficult and unbearable time. The devastation that so many people endured is unimaginable! Please look below for some pictures I have included some of our team distributing goods, like blankets, Jackets and food.
Unfortunately, my visa application seems to be in limbo. The Syria officials have not yet approved it. It is just on hold. I pray that when the time is right, God will open the doors for me to return.
The media ministry is continuing with strength to reach the lost. We are doing many productions in our new studio and posting videos to YouTube, Facebook and other social media platforms. Everyday more and more people are being touch by the message of Jesus. The Social Media ministry is booming and we are training more people to help with follow-up!
A few days ago I was a guest speaker on another Arabic Ministry’s live Satellite program and the topic was on the Second Coming of Christ and how people scoff or mock at it in disbelief (read 2 Peter Chapter 3). While on the air a Moroccan man called in and confessed to me, saying: “I was making fun of you and Jesus, but then the Holy Spirit convicted me and I prayed and received Jesus and now I am following Him proudly.”
Another man from Yemen who lives in Europe called to say, “I disbelieve Islam and I want to follow Christ.” We had a long conversation and it was amazing to see the power of Christ, even though the world is upside down and in turmoil, Jesus is still on the throne and in the business of changing lives!
Not long ago I met a Druze lady who had accepted Jesus but because of the threats to her life, she was running from city to city to hide. Her witness, however, was so strong that her sister became a believer and when I was preaching near their region they brought their mother to the meeting and she received Jesus, then the mother went and brought her husband to me to pray with him. I pray this whole family will become believers! Praise the Lord!
