June 2024 - Evangelism - A Top Priority
The greatest thing in ministry is to see precious souls transformed from darkness to light; from death to life; and from hell to heaven! That is my mission. That is my life’s work, and it is so worth it! All the resources on earth does not compare to the value of one soul. There is no greater joy than in seeing one changed life. I take it very, very seriously. It cost Jesus everything – to leave the Father in heaven and to come to earth to die on the horrible cross. If Jesus did that, what must we do? In following His example, we must likewise give our all for the lost. By saving lives we are literally rescuing people from going to hell for all eternity. Therefore, all our programs and ministry is focused on saving lives. This is the great commission we are called to do!
There is an estimated 313 million people in the world who speak Arabic, making it the 5th most spoken language. God loves every person in the world. He has made them in His image and cares about their destiny. We must reach them! The greatest joy I have is to see people believe in Jesus, to make disciples and to see them baptized and now serving the Lord.
In a recent conference I spoke at, I met a young man who testified that this is what happened to him through our ministry. In fact, all over the world I meet with many people who share with me how they became followers of Jesus. That is music to my ears and brings joy to my heart!
An interesting story I will share is about a man and his wife from Saudi Arabia. Individually, they became followers of Jesus, without the other knowing. Then one day the man caught his wife reading the Bible! The response, however, was not what she expected! He exclaimed to her with joy that he too was believer in Jesus!
Truly I can say we live in a golden era for the harvest. Every single day people come to Jesus Christ and amazing stories have been told. This past month we heard from Iran, Iraq, Libia, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, and more! It is amazing what the Holy Spirit is doing! The Apostle Paul expressed, “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?...” (Romans 10:14, 15). Thank you dear partner for being a sender by your support of Light For All Nations! You are such a blessing to me! Preaching the Gospel will always remain my top priority.
Before closing I want to share with you some great news! Our daughter Hannah, and her husband Daniel Fuller, have welcomed into the family a new baby on May 27th, their second child, a brother to 21 month old Laura, a beautiful and healthy baby boy, Benjamin. See our picture below.
May the Lord bless you abundantly and I pray you will have a wonderful Father's Day this month and may each father fulfil his calling to be the spiritual head of his home.
In Christ's love and service,
Nizar Shaheen
